Wild Life

Rare bird of prey - Johnny Rook/Caracara - not loved by the farmers as they can be ugly enough to peck out live sheep's eyes..

they were real curios about me - flew right up to my face and checked me out two of them did!

Timothy & Kimpossible - Falkland Islands

Two random people posing for yet another photograph. Rain-swept, wind-swept, snow-swept they perch on top of a hill watching the sun set....

A real live local from the Falkland Islands. The lesser spotted Timothy is a nocturnal creature, sports a colourful blue and purple woolen crest.

Kim, after traveling around the world visiting a million different countries finally lives out her dream of cuddling a rain deer fawn. After giving the fawn a free Reiki session the poor little thing was so relaxed that she poohed on the floor....thats the rain deer not Kim. ;)

After hiking up the tallest mountain in the Falklands....Ok, ok.....tallest hill for those of you that live in a grown up country, Kim perfects the art of posing for "The North Face" catalogue.

Falkland Islands by Summer. Boxing Day 2005 .

Falkland Islands by autumn. Over looking Stanley.
Falkland Islands by Winter. Midwinter's Swim, Surf Bay.

Falkland Islands by Spring. Imagine lots of wind and sand, ouch.
